Hi there,

Thanks for shopping at the Paperbark Collective. My name is Liz and along with my husband, we are the creators behind this small business. Each candle you purchase is carefully hand poured by myself, using Australian made, natural soy wax and a variety of high quality fragrant oils.
 
For quite some time now I have developed quite the love for candles. For me, the atmosphere and aroma they create in a house really make it a home and they add just the right amount of warmth to make those cold nights a whole lot more cozier.
 
Each candle is made with a natural wooden wick that resembles the sound of a crackling wood fire. These wicks contain no lead or other harmful  materials. Another reason we have chosen to use wooden wicks is that they create a much cleaner burn and leave minimal to no soot on the walls of the candle container. Paperbark Collective is based on the South Coast of Australia, just outside of the pristine Jervis Bay, which is home to some of Australia's most beautiful Fauna and Flora, including Paperbark trees. Hence the inspiration for the name.
 
Our wooden wick candles make for the perfect gifts on any occasion  and are housed in beautiful gloss white jars with your choice of a timber or matte black lid.
